Seattle has a rich urban and contemporary art scene thriving in neighborhoods across our city and WEAVE’s mission is to promote and grow this art scene. We are a year round resource that features urban and contemporary artists in the Pacific Northwest, as well as, hosting signature events highlighting the talents of our region.

The publication is produced by Bherd Studios which is a collaborative effort of artist, John Osgood and his partner, Michele Osgood and is written almost exclusively by Sarra Scherb — aka Brass Archer Media.

Brass Archer Media is a freelance arts journalist, curator, writer and designer in Seattle. She has worked with art galleries, museums, publications, and individual artists across the NW to publicize artwork and shows, develop programs and exhibits, and cover the arts scene.

Her client list includes four Seattle art galleries, five Washington museums, the Seattle Art Dealers Association, The Stranger, The Toast, Stackedd Magazine, WEAVE magazine, and independent clients. She holds a degree in History and an MA in Museology.
